It was cold, but warm against Dawnkit's mother's belly. the warm milk scent seemed to cling to everything in the den,the nursery. she could not see anything, the queen, Acornflower, told her to open her eyes when she was ready, as all kits do. Then she heard her den mates Nightkit and her sister Sorrowkit and there meows of laughter out side of the nursery. Why can't I go out? she thought. Felling frustrated she closed her eyes thinking up a plan, but sleep wrapped around her.......

She listened sleepily aware of her denmates steady breathing. Time to put my plan into action!Dawnkit thought. She opened her eyes for the first time aware of the colors and ran out of the nursery as silently as a fish in water. once she got to the biggest pool of water she had ever see(and the only) she crouched down not letting her shadow hit the water and there! A fish! She use one paw stroke and the fish flew out of the water and in one bit it was dead.I AM GOING TO BE THE BEST HUNTER IN RIVERCLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :-* >:( >:(
